Anne Lamkin Durward served on the Legal Aid Board of Trustees for nearly 25 years. She was recently appointed by Gov. Kay Ivey to serve as a Domestic Relations Circuit Judge in Jefferson County, Alabama. She has held numerous offices and various positions on the Legal Aid Board, serving as Board President in 2003. Her dedication to our clients and staff has been steady and unwavering. Anne has a passion to serve the underserved in our community. She ensured our attorneys had what they needed to bring about successful results for our clients.
Anne has the judicial temperament to be an excellent Domestic Relations judge. She is a hard worker and does not seek the usual limelight that someone with her expertise would seek to garner.
